There are many ways a individual can be a hero ; sometime it is the chief character of the book. sometime it could merely be an mean individual passing by. In Mr. Golding’s book Lord of the Flies. Ralph is being portrayed as a leader and a hero. In my head as I read “Lord of the Flies” . Ralph seems like an ideal leader. but yet he lacks trait of what a good leader demands. Foremost is his deficiency of intelligent. in many instances. he looks toward Piggy for waies and replies. However. aside for that. Ralph is a good leader that keeps his group under control. Ralph non merely understands people better than Jack but respect them. He makes simple regulations to maintain the male childs from traveling brainsick and maintain his head on acquiring rescued. His sense of the hereafter makes him a good leader.

Other qualities that he has which makes him such a good leader are that he thinks everyone is equal. Piggy is the weakest of the group and hence gets choice on invariably. When Jack that Piggy to close up even though Piggy got the conch. Ralph measure in and support Piggy. “Jack! He understands that people need regulations and stableness in order to stay civilised.
