Many people know what the words Loyalty. Duty. Respect. Selfless Service. Honor. Integrity. and Personal Courage mean. But you don’t see how much these words can impact people’s lives every bit much as they do a soldier’s life. As a soldier. I learned these values during basic combat preparation. and have since applied them to the manner I live my life every twenty-four hours. These values are of import to me because they create a guideline for me to follow. They help make ends for me to accomplish and beliefs to adhere to.
Loyalty means bearing true religion and commitment to the U. S. Constitution. the Army. your unit and other Soldiers. Bearing true religion and commitment is a affair of believing in and giving yourself to something or person. A loyal Soldier is one who supports the leading and stands up for fellow Soldiers. By have oning the uniform of the U. S. Army I am showing my trueness. And by making my portion. i strive to demo my trueness to my state. my unit. and to my conflict brothers to the left and right of me. Duty goes manus in manus with trueness. because if I failed to carry through my responsibility. I would be neglecting my unit and my conflict brothers. I would neglect to stay loyal to my state.
